Registration

The DataverseUA Repository structure is a set of databases (Dataverse collection) of registered institutions of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, which host open data sets (Datasets). Each data set consists of data files, data description files, metadata and additional information on data reuse for analysis.

To create a  database of an institution of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine or the Central Research Center (Dataverse collection), which will then host the data sets of users working at the institution, you must  fill out the appropriate request form.

A user who has an account in the DataverseUA Repository has the ability to view information placed in DataverseUA and download datasets and descriptive information about datasets if they have an open access license. Only registered users have the ability to obtain access rights necessary for placing research datasets (depositor rights). The user has the opportunity to register using Google or ORCID accounts, and for  users of NAS of Ukraine institutions, registration using the RD NOD system account has been implemented. To do this, select the «LOGIN» menu item on the website https://opendata.nas.gov.ua/.

Currently, registration in the DataverseUA Repository is possible only using Google accounts, ORCID or an account in the nas.gov.ua domain.

After registration, the user has the opportunity to request additional access rights by filling out the appropriate request form.

Data placement in the DataverseUA Repository is accompanied by a set of documents that the author (depositor) must have before starting the process of submitting an application for data placement. The author must have permission to place data in the open access from the institution where he works, or from the project manager, if the research data were obtained as a result of the grant, and sign the "Agreement on placement and storage of data in the DataverseUA Repository". The depositor can sign a paper copy of the agreement, or an electronic version of the agreement using a digital signature.
