FAIR-Checker software application

In 2017, the Research Data Alliance (Research Data Alliance - SHAring Rewards and Credit Interest Group (RDA - SHARC IG)) was created, which brought together experts from various disciplines (biomedicine, biodiversity, agriculture, geosciences, scientific information, semantic science) to support scientists who seek to prepare their datasets for sharing in a way that is consistent with the principles of FAIR.
To assess the compliance of the data set hosted in the DataverseUA Repository with FAIR principles, we suggest using the FAIR-Checker software application.
FAIR-Checker is an automated tool for FAIR assessment of online resources such as datasets or applications. It was developed by a working group of the French Institute for Bioinformatics. This assessment tool is publicly available online and does not require registration or authorization to use. The user only needs to provide a valid PID or URL of the dataset landing page (ie URL/DOI) to be verified.
The results of the FAIR assessment are visually represented by a radar chart that illustrates the normalized assessment results (on a scale of 0 to 100) for the four FAIR principles. A table is also provided with detailed scores, results, and recommendations for each test performed.
